The Bell Conference Center, a six thousand square foot facility, is located at the heart of the University of West Alabama campus, between Webb Hall, which is the University's administration building, and Brock Hall, which houses the Ira D. Pruitt Division of Nursing.  A brick archway connecting the two buildings was incorporated into the architecture of the Center, which is designed to fit seamlessly into the historic structures.

The Conference Center construction was financed by the combination of a private contribution from the BCES Foundation, a charitable organization founded by L.G., Sarah and John Cunningham of Chamblee, Georgia and state issue bond funds.  The Bell Conference Center is named in memory of Mrs. Cunningham's parents, and the elegant private dining room inside the Conference Center is named in memory of Mr. Cunningham's parents.

The Bell Conference Center provides meeting space for University Groups and is available for use by business and industry in the West Alabama region.  It also includes kitchen facilities and state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.  the Bell Conference Center will seat 300 people for meetings and meals.  In addition, the Center's private dining room is available for use by smaller groups.
